LTW: Laboratory Testing Workflow
Pre-connectathon testing for systems implementing the LTW (Laboratory Testing Workflow) integration profile are perfomed against a Gazelle simulator named OrderManager and available at http://gazelle.ihe.net/OrderManager. In this context we test actors independently of each other, that means that we do not take care of the workflow. Before starting your tests, please set up properly your system and/or give the correct information to the simulator in order to enable it to access your system under test. We also strongly recommend to read the documentation located at http://gazelle.ihe.net/content/order-manager. Note that this simulator emulates actors from various domain, consequently, before starting your tests, make sure the Laboratory domain is selected. Currently, the Order Result Tracker is played by another Gazelle simulator located at http://gazelle.ihe.net/LTWORT. Order fillers Depending of the transaction in which it is involved, the Order Filler is either an HL7 initiator or an HL7 responder. Consequently, in order to be able to communicate with the simulator, you need to enter the configuration of your system under test (IP address, port, application, facility...) into the simulator, go to section entitled "SUT Configurations". In addition, you need to enter the configuration of the different actors emulates by the simulator: Order Placer, Automation Manager and Order Result Tracker. Order placers Depending of the transaction in which it is involved, the Order Placer is either an HL7 initiator or an HL7 responder. Consequently, in order to be able to communicate with the simulator, you need to enter the configuration of your system under test (IP address, port, application, facility...) into the simulator, go to section entitled "SUT Configurations". In addition, you need to enter the configuration of the Order Filler emulated by the simulator. Automation managers Depending of the transaction in which it is involved, the Automation Manager is either an HL7 initiator or an HL7 responder. Consequently, in order to be able to communicate with the simulator, you need to enter the configuration of your system under test (IP address, port, application, facility...) into the simulator, go to section entitled "SUT Configurations". In addition, you need to enter the configuration of the Order Filler emulated by the simulator. Order result trackers Has an HL7 responder, the Order result tracker must enter its configuration into the OrderManager simulator. Go to "SUT Configurations" section to do so.
