HL7v2 validation: nothing happens when selecting a profile in the drop down list

In some cases, several profiles are available for a given context, message type and Hl7 version. In this case, a drop-down list is displayed to let the user choose the relevant profile. When selecting a item is this list, nothing happens unless the reRender of the div element... it seems to be a convertion issue.
