This page describe how to install the Gazelle Monitor Application.

Requirements

The Gazelle Monitor Application is a very simple application with no database that we deploy on a tomcat application server.

Connectathon Monitors

Monitors are volunteer domain experts who assist Connectathon Manager in overseeing testing.

• They develop special expertise in an IHE domain or set of profiles
• They verify test results and record them in testing management system (Gazelle)
• They help clarify requirements when necessary
• They are neutral arbiter without affiliation to any organizations participating in testing.

Monitor Qualifications

Usually the monitor qualifications are among the followings

Test validation workflow

• Find test in the monitor worklist
• Claim test (release it if necessary)
• Review test requirements
• Visit participants, look for evidence
• Grade the test 
  • Verified -> Done
  • Failed -> Enter comments, done
  • Partially Verified -> Enter comments, done

Gazelle Monitor App

For monitors who own a smart phones or a tablet PC with a wireless web access (wifi), a new Gazelle application has been developed called GazelleMonitorApp. This application, reachable at http://gazelle.ihe.net/GazelleMonitorApp enables you to retrieve the tests you have claimed from TestManagement on your PC and validate them. The results are automatically sent to TestManagement.

Obviously, this application can only be used in Connectathon periods for the testing sessions you are monitor for.
