I have edited an assertion in the application in the review mode. Last updated and Last modifier are not updated

I have updated an assertion and I was expected that the field last changed would be updated. This is not the case as you can see on the screen capture.
This appends either if I am editing in place or from the edit page. It appends what ever field I am modifying
