Description
Discussions between PVM & ABE :
When investigating we found out that the message might not be translated when sending the notification, resulting in the final message being sent in the language of the user responsible for the notification (I.E if someone changes a test statues and his language is set to french, notified user will receive an email in french).
Would an application preference "Notification Language" for each user be conceivable ?
Or maybe forcing those emails to be translated to english before being sent ?
What are your thoughts about these solutions ?
=>
At first I would say that we just use English as default BUT we have French customers who ask for a 100% French tool so it should be configurable. I suggest that we add a application preference (for the whole application not at user level) called: "default language". We might need to use it for something else as notification in the future. We should be careful when we offer the option to reuse the list of possible languages only (that means the ones that are configured in the WAR).
