Description
The aim is to have a general view about modeling tools.
MDHT used codegen on the generation of java classes and JET template to write the content of methods, constraints, also they used xmlmodeling as a UML generator from XSD document. These tools begin to become old technologies, they are not powerful, difficult to maintain and to modify. My tests done using these technologies where not very successful, and The user can not modify easily the comportment of these modeling tools.
Many new and more powerful modeling software exists as acceleo and, androMDA. They offers the possibility to generate JAVA from UML modele, but also they can generate what we want using templates.
